Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate Recovered From COVID-19 and Asks for Plasma Donations
This morning, Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate posted on Instagram that he once had COVID-19 and has since recovered. Brate posted a video asking for those who were diagnosed with COVID-19 or tested positive for antibodies to donate plasma. The conditions for donating plasma are you have to be fully recovered and have been symptom-free for two weeks. At the end of the video, Cameron Brate says “we’re all in this together, and your donation of plasma can truly make a difference in someone’s life.”
To find out more information about donating plasma, visit oneblood.org. Plasma from COVID-19 patients and people who have tested for antibodies could potentially help others who are currently suffering fight it off as well. We are glad that Cam is healthy and feeling better and can’t wait to see him on the field soon.
