NFL Releases List of 2020 Gameday Protocols

Published by Cory Hays on

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the NFL informed teams of the NFL-NFLPA gameday protocols last night. These protocols include no postgame interactions within six feet of each other, jersey swaps being prohibited, no on-field seating for fans, both teams traveling via bus to the stadium, and no media in the locker rooms.

These protocols are ridiculous but this is the year 2020 in a nutshell with COVID-19 going on and changing the way that everything is done. The players can run around and engage in a full contact sport but cannot exchange their jerseys or communicate unless they’re social distancing. This makes no sense but nothing makes sense anymore. One thing is for certain though. The NFL and sports as a whole will not look the same at least for the upcoming season.
