Glazer Family Donating to Help Feed Tampa Bay

Published by Cory Hays on

This morning, the Buccaneers announced that The Glazer Family will be donating 5 million meals to Feeding Tampa Bay for COVID-19 relief efforts. Feeding Tampa Bay President and CEO Thomas Mantz had the following to say about the donation from the Glazer Family: “The donation of 5 million meals from the Glazer family is the largest of its kind to Feeding Tampa Bay during the COVID crisis and the impact to those who are struggling with job loss, income uncertainty and the fear of not being able to feed their family is incalculable. On behalf of those we serve, our thanks to the Glazer family for their generosity.”

The Glazer Family have been donating a lot of time and money recently to help fight COVID-19. Last week, the Glazers donated $100,000 to the One Tampa: Relief Now, Rose Together Fund, which offers financial assistance to businesses and residents in the Tampa area and another $100,000 to the City of St. Petersburg’s Fighting Chance Fund. These charitable contributions along with many others including the likes of Buccaneers QB Tom Brady, former Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston, Buccaneers WR Mike Evans, and many many more will help combat COVID-19 and help those who need it the most in these trying times.
