EA Sports Creating Virtual Moments for Draft Prospects Meeting NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell
As the NFL continues discussing ways to go about doing a virtual draft, EA Sports is doing something for the prospects. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, EA Sports is creating the prospects meeting NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell virtually and each prospect will choose a HS to receive a $2,500 grant towards their football program. Additionally, EA Sports is asking what type of interaction that the prospects would want with the commissioner so that it’s accurate for when they’re drafted. This is a pretty cool thing for EA to do when the real draft moments were taken away from the prospects due to the current events going on worldwide.
As the NFL works on a virtual draft experience for prospects, 2 interesting notes:
— EA Sports will create a virtual moment of the prospect walking out on stage meeting the Commissioner.
— Each prospect will choose a HS to receive a $2,500 grant towards their football program.
