Published by All Things Bucs on

Too be fair, at the start of 2020, we don’t think ANYBODY would’ve predicted that future HOF QB Tom Brady would be joining the Buccaneers. Huge news. New era. News has been circulating since Monday that Tom Brady has agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now it is official.

Brady spent the first 20 seasons of his career with the New England Patriots. He set a record by playing in 9 Super Bowls, winning six of them (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, and LIII). That turns out to be the most out of any player in NFL history. He has won a record 4 Super Bowl MVP awards (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XLIX, and LI) as well as 3 NFL MVP awards (07′, 10′, 17′)

Signing Brady means the end of a past era with 26 year old QB Jameis Winston. Reports say Winston & the Buccaneers were on different pages during contract negotiations. Jameis was drafted in 2015 and played out his rookie contract. As this was a divisive topic for most fans, majority of fans have been supportive of this move. Even enough for a wait-list for season tickets.
