Buccaneers Rush for Franchise Low Attempts Against Saints

Published by Cory Hays on

Yesterday, the Buccaneers ran the football a franchise low eight times against the New Orleans Saints. The team’s leading rusher was QB Jameis Winston with two rushing attempts for 23 yards. Winston threw the ball 51 times as well. Starting RB Ronald Jones II rushed four times for 13 yards and third string RB Dare Ogunbowale got two goal line carries for zero yards. RB Peyton Barber was only used as a receiving RB. This is not winning football. A winning team balances out the run and pass no matter what situation the team is in. Bruce Arians and the coaching staff need to take a hard look at their coaching styles and adjust to help out both their running game and passing game.
