Jameis Winston Breaks Another Franchise Record

Published by Cory Hays on

In yesterday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston once again put himself in the history books for the organization. Winston is the first QB in Buccaneers history with at least 4 straight games of 300+ passing yards. Jameis Winston already ranks first in yards and TDs in Buccaneers history and is currently fourth on the list in interceptions. Winston has looked like a franchise QB despite the turnovers that he has committed this last month by the way he’s making decisions in running the ball and throwing the ball away when nothing is there. Bruce Arians said that if Jameis continues to play this way, he’s well on his way to a second contract with the Buccaneers which would also be a first at the QB position for the organization.

Give him a new contract for 2020, it don’t make sense to get a new QB and have to train him in learning the offense. I would keep Winston and I would also go after a veteran QB to back Winston up like COLIN KAPERNICK give the Man a job he wants to play. Sign Kapernick I’m willing to bet Tampa Bay Buccaneers get to another SUPER BOWL sooner than later.
