Impact Players to Watch: Week 10 Cardinals vs Bucs
Hey! Hey! Tampa Bay fans! It’s another week of Buccaneers football after that disappointing loss against the Seattle Seahawks. The Buccaneers (2-6) finally come back home to Raymond James Stadium after being gone for almost 49 days to face number 1 overall pick QB Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals (3-5-1). This one is special for Coach Arians and staff as they face their old team in the Cardinals. For this week’s matchup, I have Bucs QB Jameis Winston QB Kyler Murray as impact players in the battle of number one picks in the NFL Draft
Jameis Winston QuarterBack:
Coming into his contract year, Bucs QB Jameis Winston has faced a lot of pressure from fans and media here in Tampa. Coming out of Florida State, Winston has been a polarizing figure being a great community guy in giving back to the youth in his home state of Alabama and also in Tampa. Winston being in this new offensive system has been a roller coaster with him having some really good games like last weeks performance against the Seahawks and then some bad games like the one against the Saints where he turned over the ball 5 times and still threw for over 400 yards. It’s hard to see if Winston is the future after this season but I can only hope that he is here at least another season with a full grasp of the offense and work to improve his skills even more. For today’s game, it’s hard to not see Winston having a solid game against the Cardinals and most importantly a huge Bucs win at home.
Kyler Murray Quarterback:
Rookie QB Kyler Murray is having an interesting season in his first year in the NFL with a rookie HC in Kliff Kingsbury. For the Cardinals, this is a fresh start for a franchise who had some recent success under former Head Coach Bruce Arians. After having that success, they went through a rough transition with former Head Coach Steve Wilks who struggled and was one and done in the NFL coaching. Murray is looking be that star QB to build around along with future Hall of Fame WR in Larry Fitzgerald. Today’s game is going to be an interesting one for Murray for a team that has a decent pass rush and some stud pass rushers in Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaq Barrett. He will have to keep his eyes all over the field because Bucs Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles scheme blitzes a lot. If Murray wants to show he belongs against the best, today’s game would go towards that.
For the Veterans young and old past and present, myself and the team at All Things Buccaneers & Bucs Life Media wanted to wish you all a very Happy Veterans Day and enjoy your special moments and memories of serving this beautiful nation we served. God speed and Semper Fidelis!
