Buccaneers Add Another LB to 53 Man Roster

Published by Cory Hays on

According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, the Buccaneers are adding OLB Kahzin Daniels to the 53 man roster from the practice squad. This comes on the heels of Carl Nassib and Anthony Nelson being injured in Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. This is a great story for Daniels as he has been chasing the dream while being blind in his right eye since he was five years old. Coming out of University of Charleston, Daniels was undrafted and signed with the Buccaneers because they played the closest scheme to his college. At Charleston, Daniels recorded 161 tackles, 34.5 sacks, and three passes defended. Daniels was a standout in training camp and preseason and caught the attention of Buccaneers Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles. With the status of Nassib and Nelson uncertain, we’ll see exactly how much playing time Daniels gets alongside Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaquil Barrett.
