Buccaneers Center Ryan Jensen Nominated for Award

Published by Cory Hays on

According to The Athletic’s Greg Auman, Buccaneers Center Ryan Jensen has been named the Buccaneers team nominee for the NFL’s Salute to Service Award. The Salute to Service Award is an award that honors players who do a lot for the military community.

Jensen was nominated because of his work with the service members at MacDill Air Force Base and teaming up with the USO. At Raymond James Stadium, Jensen sponsors a ticket program for veterans called Jensen’s G.I. Joes to attend Buccaneers home games. Ryan Jensen would like to set an example for his son Wyatt with this type of work in the community and giving back.

The last Buccaneers player to win the Salute to Service Award was WR Vincent Jackson in 2015. As a military member, I support this award and thank all those who support us as we serve the country.
