NFLPA Collegiate Bowl to Air on NFL Network Through 2024
In a press release sent out today, the NFL Players Association and NFL Media have agreed to broadcast the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl exclusively on NFL Network through 2024. The ninth annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl will be played next year at the Rose Bowl Stadium on January 18, 2020 at 7 PM Eastern.
This bowl game has been used as a platform for players to show that they can make it in the NFL on a national stage. Notable players who have participated include Marquise Goodwin, Chris Conley, Trevone Boykin, Greg Ward Jr., T.J. Logan, Tarik Cohen. Shaquil Griffin, Zay Jones, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
“We are excited for the opportunity to continue growing the audience of our game with NFL Network, which has become the number one source for all things football,” said Teri Smith, NFLPA Collegiate Bowl director and acting COO of the NFLPA. “Our goal has always been to provide NFL prospects and future members with maximum support and exposure. This partnership is an extension of that mission.”
