In non Buccaneer related news, the Vipers have been assigned QB Aaron Murray. Murray was raised in Florida and played his High School Football at Plant High School. After High School, Murray attended University of Georgia where he would become the start QB under Mark Richt.

In his career at Georgia, Murray threw for 13,166 yards, 121 TDs and 41 INTs. Murray was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He bounced around the league between the Chiefs, Cardinals, Eagles, and Rams before being waived in 2017 by the Rams. In 2018, Murray was selected second overall in the Alliance of American Football (AAF) draft by the Atlanta Legends. The league didn’t even last a full season so Murray was looking for a job once again. Today, Murray was assigned to the Vipers in the 2020 XFL Draft. Hopefully, it’s a nice homecoming for Murray and he leads the Vipers to a successful inaugural season.
