Published by Kevin Sloan on

Hey! Hey! Tampa Bay Bucs Fans! We’re into the last few days of preseason. With the 32 NFL team cuts coming up in the next few days, there is one Buccaneer who is looking forward to make the roster and joining his 52 other brothers in the trenches.

Buccaneers backup center Nate Trewyn is looking to continue to impress Coach Arians and staff to make the 53 man roster. Trewyn, who was undrafted out of small division III university in the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, signed with the Bucs as undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft. Trewyn was a first team all-American and he won the Rimington Award for the nation top center in Division III.

His three years of experience playing 35 games at Wisconsin-Waterwater and his 6’3 313 pound frame is very impressive and his football I.Q. is very strong. He is getting praise from his teammates and fellow coaching staff and they see him as a part of the future of the Buccaneers. Bruce Arians mentioned that Trewyn is “Tough, He’s smart, and he is growing as a player, so yeah, he’s got an opportunity to make the best of it right now, “Yeah, he’ll get a real good look.”

Good Luck to Nate Trewyn and Go Bucs!
