Buccaneers Come in at 27 in ESPN Preseason Power Rankings

Published by Cory Hays on

In the latest ESPN Power Rankings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come in at number 27. They come in ahead of only 5 teams which are the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, and Miami Dolphins.

The ESPN article also names who is on the hot seat for each team and the person on the hot seat for Tampa is QB Jameis Winston. Winston is headed into his 5th season as the Buccaneers QB and is being looked at by most as a make or break year for him. Head Coach Bruce Arians, GM Jason Licht, and ownership are big supporters of Jameis and his leadership and work ethic. Winston has many weapons this season so if he cuts down on turnovers then he will be the first Bucs QB signed to a second contract and deemed the franchise QB.
