Jameis Winston on What He Hopes to Accomplish in Tonight’s Game vs Miami

Published by Cory Hays on

On Wednesday, QB Jameis Winston was available to the press. Here is what he had to say about what he hopes to accomplish tonight against the Dolphins via Buccaneers.com:

“Just execution and action. We’ve got to execute well and hopefully we get a collective team win.”

The Bucs lost their first preseason game last week to the Steelers but the starters played one drive. In that one drive, the Offense executed about as perfectly as a team can execute an opening drive. Jameis Winston was locked and loaded and the RB tandem of Barber and Jones were running with purpose. It’s all about executing in preseason so you can carry it into the regular season and we’ll see how the guys look tonight against Miami especially after two joint practices this week.
