BREAKING: Buccaneers Sign Veteran Safety
This morning, The Athletic’s Greg Auman reports that the Buccaneers have signed veteran S Darian Stewart. Stewart spent the last four seasons as a starter in Denver. He won the Super Bowl with the Broncos in 2016 in Super Bowl 50 and was named to the Pro Bowl roster the same season. In his time in the NFL, Stewart has 454 tackles, 5 sacks, 45 pass deflections, and 11 INTs. This is an interesting signing as it comes on the heels of the Bucs working out S Marcus Gilchrist yesterday. Stewart brings a veteran presence as he will be the oldest in the Safety group at 31.
