Buccaneers Working Out Veteran Safety
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Buccaneers are visiting with and working out veteran S Marcus Gilchrist. Gilchrist has been around the league after being drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 2011. Gilchrist has played for the Chargers, Jets, Texans, and Raiders. In his NFL career, Gilchrist has 497 tackles, 4 sacks, 38 pass deflections, and 14 INTs. This would be a good veteran signing to help the Buccaneers secondary who continues to deal with injuries early on in the preseason. We’ll keep an eye on the situation and see if the Buccaneers end up signing Gilchrist.
