BREAKING: Buccaneers Release Veteran OL
According to The Athletic’s Greg Auman, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released OL Evan Smith. He was due to make $2 million this upcoming season. Smith has been with the team for 5 seasons and he was one of the longest tenured Bucs. Evan Smith just came off of double hip surgery and now he can potentially sign with another team for OL Depth. This move is a good sign that OL Earl Watford will be the versatile OL on this years Buccaneers. Bucs have released veteran offensive lineman Evan Smith. He'd been with Tampa the last five seasons, making him one of the most tenured Bucs on roster. Came back from surgery on both hips, played with second line last night. Guard/center was due to make $2 million in 2019.
