Jameis Winston Begins Dream Forever Week in Alabama

Published by Cory Hays on

On Monday, Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston began Dream Forever Week in his home state of Alabama. Winston treated 10 Birmingham kids to a $100 shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hoover. Hoover is a town known for their High School football team and ironically enough the mascot is a Buccaneer.

Jameis Winston started the Dream Forever Foundation with the goal of giving back to kids who are less fortunate. Winston loves going back to his roots and sharing his life experiences with the children. Much like his Jameis Winston Football ProCamp in Tampa, Winston is hosting 2 football camps in Alabama.

On Thursday, Winston will be hosting a football camp at Miles College for 200 of the top High School football prospects in the state of Alabama and stream it to college coaches around the United States. On Friday, Jameis is hosting a free football camp at his alma mater Hueytown High School for 200 kids ages 8 to 13 where they will learn the game from a pros pro.

Jameis Winston loves giving back to the community both in Tampa and in his home state of Alabama. His football IQ is very high and the knowledge for the game will contribute to some of these kids playing at a higher level. A lot of people knock Winston for his turnovers on the field and some off the field situations but nobody can ever question how dedicated he is to providing for the future generation in America. Winston will go above and beyond to make sure that the youth are encouraged and should always follow their dreams because dreams do come true.
