Hey! Hey! Tampa Bay! Bucs fans and football fans in general we had some news that was broken earlier this week with the WWE’s Vince McMannon and his new rebuilt XFL. The new XFL is under the leadership of Oliver Luck and his crew. They have recently announced that its Tampa Bay franchise has now found a team president to go along with GM/Head Coach Mark Trestman in former USF executive Mr. Josh Bullock.

Bullock, who was recently the former senior associate director of athletics and the senior director of development, was tapped to become the teams first full executive in the unnamed teams front office. Recently, Bullock was interviewed by the Tampa Bay Times and he said “Opportunities like this just don’t happen in sports, to be part of building a professional sports franchise, to come in at the ground floor and be able to roll up your sleeves and really have impact,” he said. “There are so many advantages to doing it this way, where your voice can be heard. There’s not a whole lot of pre-existing rules and regulations. There’s very little baggage to kind of sort through to get something going.

Additionally, he wasn’t looking to leave his post at USF since he was there since March of 2018 and was looking for another season with the Bulls program. He felt the fairly new organization of the XFL coming into an already big football market would be an interesting but new challenge for him and his new staff that starts play in February of 2020.

From one Bull to another congrats Josh and much success in the XFL.
