Fly Scotty Fly
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected WR Scotty Miller from Bowling Green University with the 208th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Miller was not a guy that a lot of teams were looking at due to where he went to college and his size. Scotty Miller is billed at 5”11 and 166 lbs. His size doesn’t exactly fit the profile of an NFL player but it’s not about that. In order to play in the NFL, you need to have the basic fundamentals down and be a hard worker and Miller is a guy who fits this description.
The team began mandatory mini-camp yesterday and Scotty Miller seemed to be a standout. He was flying down the field left and right using his 4.3 40 yard dash speed to his advantage against the Buccaneers secondary. The Bucs lost WR’s DeSean Jackson and Adam Humphries this offseason so they need someone to fill the void of speed and hands, it looks like Scotty Miller could be that guy. Miller can come right in and make an immediate impact alongside Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as potentially the newest, fastest slot receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The saying is “speed kills” and that is Scotty Miller. You know what they say… Speed Kills.
How do you think the Buccaneers offense will do this season?
