Recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers held their annual Day of Service event for the Tampa Bay community. Along with Jabil, they promoted their tradition of working on a local community project with the bay area Boys & Girls Club who help sponsor the annual event.

The Buccaneers selected the Boys & Girls Club of Suncoast in Pinellas Park on May 10, 2019, and the staff and the players of the team went out to help revive the local club.  They also help build some additional add-ons to the club for the local kids who attend the community center. The build-up included refurbishing their existing computer lab and helping build an innovation room that would have a smart board, new computers, and workspace to assist the students who attend with their schoolwork and projects.

Bryan Glazer, Buccaneers Owner/Co-Chairman, was quoted from the Buccaneers Foundation saying, “Through our work with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation we are committed to uplifting our community, inspiring our youth and driving social change through programs and initiatives that make a real difference in our communities,”. He additionally said, “We are thrilled to be out here with our partners from Jabil who have that same passion for creating pathways to opportunity for our youth. Our hope is that these enhancements will inspire the children here to excel both in the classroom and in life.”

Both the Buccaneers and Jabil helped build the upgraded computer lab and Innovation room. They also had volunteers help replace furniture, add electronics, and paint murals along witg overhauling the gym and playground areas as well.

We here at All Things Buccaneers and Bucs Life News would like to salute and congratulate the Buccaneers and their partners on their recent efforts in assisting the Tampa Bay community.
