Today is the day. One young man is about to get selected to our Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has been linked to a few top defensive players. In the previous Mock Draft, I selected the Buccaneers pick LB Devin White out of LSU. Its no surprise they will probably get a defensive player with their first pick, but Bruce Arians has stated that they intend to select the best player on the board, regardless of positional need. Personally with the need of LB, its highly possible we get Devin White but I believe if they do not select a LB, they will trade for a vet right before the season around OTA’s. Here is the final 2019 NFL Mock Draft 3.0:

FULL ROUND 1:

SELECTION: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

BREAKDOWN:

1) Ed Oliver – Defensive Tackle – Houston

– Ed Oliver is a popular name among the ATB Twitter mentions from the fans. Some say Devin White is not worth #5 selection. Ed Oliver is underrated and does not get the attention as the other top Defensive Lineman. He is often compared the the playing style of Aaron Donald due to the similarity of size. Standing at 6’2, Ed is a disruptive pass rusher and consistently collapses the pocket. If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers end up selecting Ed Oliver over Devin White, don’t be surprised.

2) Chris Lindstrom – Interior Offensive Lineman – Boston College

– I previously selected Chris in the first ATB Mock Draft 1.0, as stated in the post: “While we know Caleb Benenoch is not a starter-quality player. Selecting another Offensive Guard is key. Chris Lindstrom from BC would be a solid pickup. From not only being on of the most athletic OL in the draft. Chris fits best in the Bruce Arians zone blocking schemes.”

3) Parris Campbell – Wide Receiver/Slot – Ohio State

– Parris Campbell falling to the Buccaneers in the 3rd round would be lucky and surprising unless they trade into the late 2nd. Parris Campbell is an electrifying play-maker who has all the skill traits to play big and holds a ton of speed. Parris Campbell ran a 4.31 40-yard dash at this years NFL Combine. He also has a vertical just over 40.0 Inches. As we know Bruce Arians loves his speed, this is one player in particular the Buccaneers are targeting on day two and three.
