Justin Watson WR#4?
Going into the 2019 NFL season, fellow Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Justin Watson will have a shot to earn the spot at the WR#4.
Watson, from the University of Pennsylvania, was drafted in the 5th round of the 2018 NFL Draft and eventually earned himself a spot on the roster as the WR#5. But, he could work his way up the depth chart, if the Bucs make changes in the off-season due to players departing.
If the Buccaneers are not able to keep the slot, #3 WR Adam Humphries, then that could open the roster spot for Watson, and he could become that prototype slot WR.
Watson was one of the most productive WRs in FCS history, posting over 1,000- yards in each of his last three seasons, including his senior year in which he recorded 81 catches for 1,083-yards, and 10 touchdowns. The Bucs saw something in him.
Watson will have his chance to show his worth and could possibly become the next Adam Humphries.
