ATB TOP COACHING CANDIDATES
Reports are out that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired former HC Dirk Koetter. They are currently in the search for possible Head Coaching Candidates. Here is ATB top choices to take the helm in Tampa:
Kris Richard – Former Seattle Seahawks Defensive Coordinator, Current Dallas Cowboys Defensive Back Coach & Passing Game Coordinator. Kris is currently 39 years young. Kris Richard is an aggressive heard nosed coach with plenty of energy that comes along. Running out of a multiple set, 4-3 Defensive Scheme; Expect a look similar to the current Buccaneers scheme but with more aggressive blitzes coming from Linebackers & Safeties. After watching Kris Richard Mic’d up, its clear he has a “Driver” personality type & is very enthusiastic with his players. Being a players coach is maybe what we need as the Buccaneers are a young team with up-and-coming talent.
Bruce Arians – Former Arizona Cardinals Head Coach, currently retired. ATB has made a post last month about the possibilities surrounding the former AZ coach and joining the Buccaneers. (Link Below) If you are a huge Jameis supporter, this is your guy. Bruce Arians is a big fan of Jameis Winston. He has known him since before he was at FSU. Jason Licht was the assistant GM at the time in AZ back when Arians was the Head Coach. With Todd Bowles fired in New York, it is possible Todd could come to Tampa and convert this Defense into a 3-4 Defense. Coach Brentson Buckner was the former DL coach under Arians in Arizona as well. I for one am a huge fan if we get Arians/Bowles. It would be arguably ATB’s top choice.
Eric Bieniemy – Current Kansas City Chiefs Offensive Coordinator. He led KC to have the #1 Scoring Offense in 2018 with 35.3 Points Per Game. Many people would be thrilled with this pickup as Tampa Bay has a young core on the Offense. Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, Ali Marpet, Chris Godwin & Peyton Barber should be a lucrative core for a HC to coach. Questions would surround on what type of offense he brings & if the Defense would make the switch from a 4-3 to 3-4.
