Buccaneers have a glaring hole in the secondary. The safety role has been a hole on this team all year. Reported yesterday by Mike Garafolo; The Buccaneers hosted the former Aggies/Justin Evans teammate Armani Watts.

Sep 30, 2017; College Station, TX, USA; South Carolina Gamecocks wide receiver Bryan Edwards (89) tries to elude Texas A&M Aggies defensive back Justin Evans and defensive back Armani Watts during the second quarter at Kyle Field. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Measurables:

Height: 5’11

Weight: 207 LBS

Stats: 324 tackles, 24 TFL, 10 INTs, 17 PassDef, 7 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries at TAMU.

Overview:

Watts comes with size and athleticism which comes rare in some safeties. He has tremendous lateral movement & can cover the field pretty quickly. He has that Justin Evans mindset where they are NOT afraid to lower the shoulder at 100km/HR. He is not hesitant when it comes to filling in run-gaps and his analysing of plays shows his football IQ, which is necessary when it comes to playing safety.
