Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2018 Player Predictions: Kwon Alexander
Article by: Justin Haas
Kwon Alexander, a name that hasn’t only become a household name to the Buccaneers franchise, but also to the whole NFL.
In the three years that Kwon Alexander has been in the league, he has made himself as a legitimate top five middle line-backer in the league, in my opinion. Kwon’s stats may have been down from 2016, but injuries kept him out from four games. That didn’t keep him from making an impact on the team.
In the twelve games Alexander played he finished with: 97 total tackles of 70 solo tackles/27 assisted tackles four our passes defended, and three interceptions. Those stats were good enough to make him a pro bowl alternate and he rightfully deserved it too.
To get to the part everyone wants, what are your predictions?
My predictions forAlexander playing a full sixteen game season is 126 total tackles, 90 of which are solo, 36 assisted tackles, seven passes defended, two interceptions, two sacks, and finally another Pro Bowl (season predictions to come out later).
I have his tackle number down from his 2016 breakout year because I believe our defensive line is much improved and will be able to provide more pressure and get off the field quicker.
Kwon and this whole Buccaneers team can become a really great squad, but we’ll just have to wait to see who the Buccaneers add to the cannon fire squad starting April 26th.
